1. Only if you want to compare existing insurance to compare benefits or pricing.

2. If you have no insurance and you do not qualify for an open enrollment this would be the time to look into advantage plans.

What is the difference between A Medicare Supplement and an Advantage Plan?

1. Medicare Supplements: Medicare pays 80% and the supplement would pay the other 20% with a very small annual deductible.
